Monster Hunter 4 is 60 percent complete, according to series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto.
Tsujimoto said he'd like to consider other types of media for the Monster Hunter series. He noted that the property was originally online and featured a story — something they started putting more emphasis on with Monster Hunter 3.
In a recent feature with Famitsu magazine, Tsujimoto said he's happy to hear stories about people becoming friends through Monster Hunter. He values that games are a way for people to form new friendships and memories.
