Monsters & Monocles brings destruction and high tea to PS4

California based studio Retro Dreamer announced their first game, Monsters & Monocles, will be coming to the PS4. The studio's artist Craig Sharpe made the announcement on the PlayStation blog earlier today.

A small, three person studio based out of Los Angeles, Retro Dreamer has been working on Monsters and Monocles for over a year now. The official description of the game reads as "Victorian steampunk themed twin-stick shooter all about using teamwork and heavy weaponry to battle the hordes of evil". You will be able to play either solo or with four players total either online or co-op while you make your way through the monster filled levels with all new, unique weapons.

Weapons and items will be able to be customized using different relics that enhance their abilities, giving you more freedom to take out the enemies. A significant change in the multiplayer portion of the game is that all players share a pool of lives. For this matter, it's important that all teammates work together and revive each other in order to save those precious health points for the final boss.

There is no release date yet but we'll have more information on Monsters & Monocles as it's released. We also reached out to Retro Dreamer and will let you know what we find out.
