More details about The Witcher 3: WIld Hunt’s New Game Plus revealed

Following yesterday's announcement that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's last bit of free DLC will come in the form of a New Game Plus mode, CD Projekt Red has shared a few details.

For starters, if you are level 30 or higher when beginning New Game Plus, your experience will carry over and you will remain the same level. However, if you've finished the vanilla game below level 30, you will be bumped up to level 30 for the start of New Game Plus. Players will also get a free Clearing Potion at the start to reset any skills and try a different build.

Items (not including quest items, books and letters, Gwent cards, usable items, and trophies) will carry over into NG+, as will any money and alchemy recipes you posses.

Although you can select any difficulty when first starting New Game Plus, enemies will be stronger, of course. It might be worth it though, as the new mode allows you to obtain the Death Match achievement/trophy.
