More details on Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Michonne Mini-Series coming today

And more info on Overkill's The Walking Dead as well

More details on two highly anticipated Walking Dead games — Telltale's The Walking Dead: Michonne Mini-Series and Overkill's The Walking Dead — will be shared today as part of Skybound Entertainment's San Diego Comic-Con panel.

Beginning at 3:30pm (Pacific), the hour-long panel celebrates the company's fifth anniversary and will "explore Skybound's various projects." This, of course, includes Telltale's latest mini-series and Overkill's upcoming first-person shooter.

"Join panel host Geoff Keighley for a discussion with Skybound Entertainment's David Alpert (The Walking Dead franchise, Outcast) as they celebrate the company's fifth anniversary. Kirkman and Alpert will explore Skybound's various projects that include properties such as The Walking Dead, Outcast, and the company's first feature film, AIR, starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. The producing duo will also dive into the bustling world of Skybound Interactive, discussing the critically acclaimed Telltale's The Walking Dead with Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner, and Skybound's upcoming first-person-shooter game, Overkill's The Walking Dead, produced by Starbreeze Studios. Expect exclusive news, special guests, and a first look at the full-length feature trailer for AIR."

As the title of Telltale's project suggests, the Michonne Mini-Series stars the iconic character from the comic book series haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret. "The story explores her untold journeyd uring the time between issues #126 and #139," Telltale previously explained. The mini-series will consist of three episodes, as "players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back."

Overkill's project, meanwhile, will offer players "a completely new co-op experience to The Walking Dead universe, exploring new characters nad storylines." It'll feature elements of action, role-playing, survival horror, and stealth.

So if you can manage to sit through an hour of Geoff Keighley, you'll probably get some juicy info about both highly anticipated games. If you can't, we'll suffer through him to provide you with any new details or information.
