More Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC inbound

According to recent Square Enix press release, more DLC will be coming soon for Final Fantasy XIII-2 – one detailed and dated, one simply announced.

On March 13, fans will be able to download Jihl Nabaat as a downloadable Coliseum opponent. Square Enix has priced the content at 240 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and $2.99 on PSN. For those unfamilar with the character, the PSICOM Officer appeared in Final Fantasy XIII for a short time, and become an instant fan-favorite.

In addition, Square announced an entirely new episode revolving around Lightning. "Lightning's Story: Requiem of the Godess" is set to be released in May and will reveal "the battle scene of Lightning and Caius not shown in the main game." The publisher stated that further details on Lightning's upcoming story will be available "soon."

Final Fantasy XIII-2's success has lead to several DLC packs already released, and according to Square, more to come. Thankfully, fans will be welcomed with some story-based DLC that will hopefully be lasting and worthwhile.
