We have a year to decide whether or not we are excited for the female-driven Ghostbusters. Yesterday, we got our first look at Kristen Wiig on the film's set, alongside director Paul Feig (who revealed that filming had begun not too long ago).
The newest images spotlight Wiig, in the same outfit as before, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon. There's little context to go from with the photos, but it looks as though these will be the initial scenes for the film.
We are seeing what appears to be the first day Wiig encounters her new workplace, the Higgins Science Institute (if she works there) and the first time she comes across Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon (as well as a fight). The duo look like they are in a rush, McCarthy is dressed normally – but is holding something interesting – and McKinnon is a bit eccentric looking with a huge backpack that probably contains something of interesting origin.
