The rumor mill keeps churning, with Birth Movies Death now also reporting that Chris Pine will play Halo Jordan in Warner Bros' Green Lantern reboot.
"This weekend I talked to someone close to Chris Pine who confirmed that the actor is in fact up for Hal Jordan. And that he had been offered Steve Trevor," Birth Movies Death reports. The site's claim is in line with what Latino Review reported back in June.
The only new development we have — and it's not much of a development at all — is that Pine has yet to officially sign on to anything as of last week. These stories tend to move quickly so it's possible anything could change by the time Warner Bros. hosts its panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, and maybe then we'll get an official announcement.
