Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have revealed Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. As the title suggests, this package includes all DLC and slated to launch on all current and next-gen consoles, alongside PC and Google Stadia on November 17th.
Alongside the new edition, the second Kombat Pack was also revealed. This character DLC features three new playable characters with Mileena, Rain, and Rambo. Yes, John Rambo. Here’s the new trailer for the Kombat Pack 2 for you to enjoy!
The brilliant Mortal Kombat 11 will be the first next-gen entry of the gloriously brutal fighter. As the starting point though fans will have to do with a next-gen port. Still, there’s plenty of goodness players can look forward to.
Most importantly, the ultimate edition on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will be a free upgrade for existing owners. It will include Kombat Packs 1 & 2 alongside the Aftermath expansion.
Take control of Earthrealm’s protectors in the game’s TWO critically acclaimed, time-bending Story Campaigns as they race to stop Kronika from rewinding time and rebooting history. Friendships are tested, and new alliances forged, in the battle to save all of existence.
If you plan on playing on next-gen, you can also enjoy a range of visual upgrades. From general visual enhancements to a dynamic 4K resolution, and cross-play & cross-gen support. Of course, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate on next-gen is also promising significantly reduced load times.
While the biggest improvements will be on the new consoles no doubt, the ultimate edition will also be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate go live next week, October 15th for $59.99.
