If you grew up in the Sega Genesis era then you remember just how many Sub-Zero / Scorpion clones there were. After all, the ninja look was completely badass, and since the model's face was covered up it was a simple matter of pallate swapping the character model to create "klassic" fighters like Reptile or Smoke. Well now you can relive the days spent arguing over which ninja clone was best with the PS Vita version of the game, which is promising exclusive throwback character skins and costumes not seen in the home console versions.
Frankly, the PS Vita is in need of some software, and though ports of our favorite fighting games (Marvel vs. Capcom, BlazBlue) aren't exactly mind blowing, it's nice to see Warner Bros. going the extra mile with these costumes.
Scorpion is still the coolest ninja though.
