Mortal Kombat X glitch lets you unlock mobile-exclusive character costumes

A new glitch discovered in the console/PC version of Mortal Kombat X reportedly allows players to unlock additional costumes in the mobile tie-in game without having to complete the required challenges in the game.

The method seems simple enough. According to a user on Reddit, all you have to do is go through the system’s leaderboards and look through some of the top-ranked player’s stats. From there, you simply exit the leaderboard and decline any requests the game might offer to change factions. Apparently, when you load into a new fight, you should be able to use the unlocked mobile skins that the top-ranked player had.

While we haven’t personally tried it out, a number players have verified the legitimacy of the glitch. A few users claim to have unlocked Ninja Johnny Cage and Injustice Scorpion character skins.

There’s currently an ongoing thread with what players will unlock skins, but since the leaderboards are constantly changing, it could be different depending on when you look.

Seeing as how the costumes are free, the glitch won't save you money, but it wills ave you some time. For example, the Injustice Scorpion skin requires you to complete 100 multiplayer ladders before being unlocked.
