During a Twitch livestream yesterday, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon revealed that the issues with the PC version of Mortal Kombat X would be addressed in a patch today. The patch has yet to be detailed on any platform other than the Twitch stream, but it's still early in the day.
Boon mentions that the changes that are headed to the PC are based off of player feedback. This means a focus on ranked matchmaking, options for people with laggy connections (like a decline), netcode and parity with consoles.
The update comes from NetherRealm working closely with co-developers High Voltage (they helped develop the PC version). The install size of the patch hasn't been revealed, but a more recent hotfix from High Voltage to the PC version was around 30MB – hopefully the new patch won't be too sizable.
"Tomorrow there will be a patch for the PC version. It literally brings the PC version to parity with the console versions and there's huge improvements coming to that version. That's a lot of the feedback we have been getting back; people with PC issues, so we're really excited to get them the version they deserve"
