Mortal Kombat X was hit with three major announcements last week, the fighting game's online mode will be improved this year (starting with a Beta), new fighters are coming with Kombat Pack 2 and a new edition of the game is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Mortal Kombat XL.
While we knew all-inclusive Mortal Kombat XL version of the game was set to release on March 1st, it was not revealed when Triborg, Bo' Rai Cho, Leatherface, and the Xenomorph from Alien would be joining the game with Kombat Pack 2.
According to Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon, Kombat Pack 2 will be releasing alongside Mortal Kombat XL and the 'XL Pack' DLC that includes all of the DLC that has been released for the game (including Kombat Pack 2), on March 1st.
Kombat Pack 2 will include more than just four new fighters, it will also include various skin packs and the Apocalypse pack.
You might notice something while looking at the picture of the upcoming content – the PC isn't listed anywhere. That's because NetherRealm is abandoning the PC (at least that is what it seems like).
