Mortal Kombat X trailer features bone-crushing combat

We promised more information about the newly announced Mortal Kombat X soon, and here they are — in the form of a trailer. The new announcement trailer does little to actually share details about the game, but it does feature the signature bone-crushing, brutal combat we experience in the 2011 reboot. If anything, it looks like Mortal Kombat X will expand upon that.

"Fueled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay to create an unprecedented Kombat experience," the brief description reads. If you watch closely, you'll probably see what NetherRealm is referring to. You can see the slight shift in cinematic presentation to gameplay, and it looks amazing.

The new trailer features a fight sequence between two of Mortal Kombat's most famous characters, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Who will win? More importantly, who's next?
