Over the last two weeks NetherRealm has been teasing some ambitious plans for Mortal Kombat X this year. Players can expect to see the fighting game's online mode improved this year (starting with a Beta), new fighters with Kombat Pack 2 and a new edition of the game, Mortal Kombat XL.
Unfortunately, the only thing that PC players can look forward to this year… is nothing (so far). When signing up to participate in the beta, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were the only platforms included.
In light of this, PC players took to NetherRealm's forums to lament about having their platform of choice ignored. In response, NetherRealm's Community Manager Tyler Lansdown offered a simple clarification that did not make anyone happier.
"Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only" wrote Lansdown on the forum.
Unless NetherRealm includes the PC platform in the future, it appears as though the developers have moved on.
