Motion poster for ‘The Tall Man’ snatches little children

I don't think The Tall Man looks scary. I don't even think it looks remotely good. But there's something about motion posters for horror movies that always creep me out. They always strike that certain chord. And while it isn't nearly as creepy as the motion poster for The Possession, I don't like seeing a little girl get taken away into a murky forest by a dark figure. Go figure.

Somewhere, Geoff from Rooster Teeth is not watching this motion poster, remember his reaction to the little girl in the Dead Island trailer.

The Tall Man's official synopsis is:

In an isolated, slowly dying mining town, children are vanishing without a trace – abducted, the townsfolk whisper, by a mysterious entity known locally as “The Tall Man.” Town nurse Julia Denning (Jessica Biel) seems skeptical…until her young David disappears in the middle of night. Frantic to rescue the boy, Julia lives every parent’s darkest nightmare in this twisting, shock-around-each-corner thriller from acclaimed director Pascal Laugier (“Martyrs”) called THE TALL MAN.

Yes, it stars Jessica Biel. So that means I'll wait til it's on Netflix for a chance that there's a shot of her in her underwear. She looks like she got caught in a thunderstorm in a lot of the pictures and trailers, so there's a good chance I'm right. GameZone's David Sanchez probably has a creepy grin right now.

The Tall Man releases September 5, 2012.
