Multiple publishers want their games to be on EA Access and Origin says EA

EA CEO Andrew Wilson took questions at the company's Investor day and dropped a hint at something we might see in the future for EA's digital "borrowing" services EA Access and Origin Access.

"Right now we are getting knocks on the door on a very regular basis from other publishers who want to be in EA Access and Origin Access because they see the value of being part of that player network."

Wilson didn't say whether or not anything was actually in the works to make this happen or even who these publishers are, but if they were to expand their offerings, it could prove to be a big deal for how games are consumed digitally.

EA Access has proven to be very fruitful since it was launched back in 2014. Over the years, the catalog has gradually expanded to include the newest iterations of sports franchises as well as Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 games.
