Murdered: Soul Suspect opens the case early this June

Square Enix has set a release date for Murdered: Soul Suspect, an action-adventure game where you're a ghost bent on solving your own murder.

The mystery begins on June 3 in North America, the publisher announced. That's one launch date for all versions: PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The Xbox One and PS4 releases will each cost $60, or $10 more than their last-gen counterparts.

Anyone who preorders Soul Suspect from select retailers will receive a free digital strategy map, accessible on a computer or tablet, that can help players uncover the game's secrets.

Airtight Games, the developer of puzzle-platformer Quantum Conundrum and funky Ouya rhythm roguelike Soul Fjord, created Soul Suspect.
