Music Unlimited app gets a redesign on PS3

Sony has released a major update to Music Unlimited on PS3, introducing a completely new user interface modeled after the PS4 version. As a result, there's also a "huge step up" in performance, according to Sony's Greg Belloni.

"When you open the new MU app on PS3, the first thing you’ll notice is the redesigned home page which showcases the latest releases, as well as new playlists and channels," he explained. Pushing the Square button will open the left-handed navigation menu where you can find the search function as well as access to the Charts, Playlists, Channels, My Library, and Settings tabs. From there, I'm pretty sure you can figure the rest out.

Overall, you’ll see a marked increase in performance, making it easier to access the music you want instantly," Belloni added. "We hope you enjoy the new experience."
