My Time At Portia graduates from Early Access with Launch Trailer

After a modest stint on Steam Early Access, the charming simulation-RPG My Time At Portia is finally finished and available in its fll finished form for PC players. You can buy the game on Steam or Epic Store for just $29.99. Console versions are set to release this Spring. To celebrate the occasion we also get a fresh launch trailer!

You might not have heard too much about My Time At Portia and it’s likely because of the developers behind the game. Pathea Games is a Chinese games studio with only a single game under their belt. 2016’s Planet Explorers is only available on Steam and is a dud among open-world survival sandboxes. As such, it comes as a nice surprise that Pathea’s second project is a huge step-up. With over 93% positive Steam user reviews, fans are truly in love with the casual RPG.

In My Time At Portia, you create your own character who returns to their small home town and tries to rebuild their Pa’s workshop. All the while making new friends, doing fun side activities, growing crops, taking on quests, fighting cute monsters, mining, crafting and much more. Sounds familiar? That’s because the developer openly stated their project’s inspiration by similar games like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing during the successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017.

For what it’s worth, Pathea Games seem to have done well on their promise and stand tall among other game Kickstarters by not only delivering on their pitch but also managed to do so in a quick time frame. Together with the full launch of My Time At Portia following new contents are included:

  • New story content – Continue your quest to uncover the secrets of Portia and experience the epic finale!
  • New side missions – including NPC quests!
  • Start a family – have or adopt a baby with your spouse!
  • Host parties at your workshop
  • More player customisation – including beards and face decorations!
  • New items and furniture
  • New calendar features – including player birthday and wedding anniversary
  • Additional audio, text, music and UI features
  • Additional language support – My Time At Portia now supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
