It's amazing that N is still around. I remember dicking around with the game while pretending I was paying attention in 7th-period science class back in high school when this thing came out. In those days, N was one of a slew of "Free Flash" games that many see as the early days of indie games, but it stood out for its simplistic art style a complex momentum oriented platforming. Now, N++, the ultimate iteration of the game is returning to the platform it was born on, and will release next week on August 25th, 2016.
One of the game's newest features is its Level Editor that will let players create, share and upload their masterpieces for every N++ player to see while utilizing all of the game's current assets.
Here's a full list of features for N++:
- Lengthy and challenging single-player campaign
- 2,360 hand-made levels
- Custom levels, a level editor and global level sharing
- Leaderboards and replays for every level (even player-created levels)
- Local co-op mode (up to 4 players)
- Local competitive mode (up to 4 Players)
- 63 tracks by top electronic artists
- 60 color palettes to customize the game’s look
N++ will retail for $14.99 with a 20% launch discount for Steam users that will run for a week.
