N7 Day brought Mass Effect: Andromeda a brand new teaser

BioWare did everything within their power to spread the word that there would be "some surprises" on N7 Day, but that they wouldn't have "any major announcements" for Mass Effect: Andromeda. So, here we are at the tail end of N7 Day and BioWare did have some Andromeda goodies hidden up their sleeve.

No, it wasn't any kind of news or tell-all about the game, but as the saying goes, 'you get what you get and you don't get upset.'

BioWare released a short teaser for Andromeda – while there wasn't any gameplay in the teaser, we did get to see a bit of interesting tidbits. Towards the end of the teaser you can see a dog-tag that says Rhyder, which could possibly be the name of the protagonist. On the right side of screen, while the dog-tag is visible, there's a memento taped to the ship's console. The memento is a photograph of what appears to be a parent and child in a bright forest environment.
