N7 Day promises surprises, but no Mass Effect: Andromeda announcements

Fans anxiously awaiting N7 Day (November 7th) in hopes of hearing more about Mass Effect: Andromeda will be disappointed to know that BioWare has no such plans to share details. Although BioWare promised "some surprises" on Saturday as we celebrate the Mass Effect Trilogy, the developer noted specifically that they won't have "any major announcements" for the highly anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda.

What they will have is an Extra Life Marathon stream inw hich they will play through the entirety of the Mass Effect 3: Citadel DLC to help raise money for the charity foundation. They'll also have some giveaways and a sale on the BioWare Store.

Mass Effect: Andromeda was officially announced at E3 back in June, but BioWare has been stingy with details. We know that gameplay will be similar to that of Mass Effect 3, but none of the major characters in the trilogy will be returning for the story. In October, studio director Yanick Roy promised fans more news will come this winter.
