Publisher Namco Bandai is getting ready to make an announcement regarding Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to From Software's Demon's Souls—which Atlus published previously.
The company is asking gamers to "like" their app on Facebook to break down the virtual wall concealing the forthcoming announcement.
Rumors have included the possibility of new downloadable content titled "Yami no Mori," which translates to “Dark Forest." However, such an addition would blatantly contradict the wishes of creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, who wanted to release "a complete package of the game" without plans for DLC.
The announcement might also refer to a PC release of the game, as a Namco Bandai employee hinted earlier this year.
Dark Souls is currently available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
