Namco confirms TEKKEN 7 project

TEKKEN 7 is a thing, apparently. Taking to the stage during this weeken's EVO Championship Series, TEKKEN series director Katsuhiro Harada announced his latest project, even showing off a teaser video.

Though details are scarce at the moment, it was revealed that TEKKEN 7 — a working title — will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. Platforms haven't been announced either, but I'm assuming Xbox One and PS4 are at least some safe bets.

As teased in the trailer, more details regarding TEKKEN 7 will be revealed Bandai Namco's San Diego Comic-Con Fighting Game panel on July 25.
