If you’re anything like me, you’ve been following every single Rome II: Total War update imaginable. I mean EVERY update. But just for now, take a step back, jump in a time machine, and let’s travel back to the 19th century and talk about a little man by the name of Napoleon. If history has taught you anything, it’s not to fight a land war in Russia. Slash and burn tactics are a b@#$%.
Napoleon: Total War Gold Edition is coming to the Mac this coming spring. With the game also will be the Peninsula Campaign, Imperial eagle Pack, Coalition Battle Pack, and Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars Pack. With these expansions, take France to near world conquering heights as you travel to Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Play in some of Napoleon’s greatest battles such as Austerlitz, Trafalgar, and Waterloo.
David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive, noted, “The Napoleonic wars are an inspired setting for a Total War game. The historical narrative and the introduction of attrition brings additional elements of realism to a fantastic series."
Sure this may not be Rome II, but it’s some nostalgia to hold you over until it comes out. Especially, if you’re a Mac user.
