NASA’s photos of the earth at night are captivating

So NASA posted a bunch of photos of the Earth at night on their Flickr account from yesterday night (December 5th).  After looking at these photos, I felt myself wondering why we look at so many pictures of the Earth during the day!?  These pictures are absolutely spell binding.

Not only do they look good, but they are also the most accurate and have the highest resolution images of the Earth to date.  What NASA calls the “Black Marble” I call amazing.  Definitely check out the NASA Flickr page and the few examples below.
