NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will be a playable character in SEGA's upcoming racing game Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
SEGA announced the partnership today at their E3 booth where Danica was on hand for photos and the unveiling of the new SEGA car she will be driving at the Texas Motor Speedway in October.
"This is a really fun day for myself and everybody at SEGA that's been really working very hard on Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. We've rapped up all of my voice overs for the game," Patrick said.
"You can play me in the game for free, so I guess that's good. You may have had to pay before, maybe I'll charge you," she joked.
"It's a really fun game to play. I am, of course, probably the fastest character so you may want to keep that in mind."
Patrick will be a free, playable character in the game along with an impressive cast that features Sonic, Tails, and other SEGA series characters when the game launches this holiday season.
