In a recent interview with GameInformer, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells weighed in on the unfathomable stupidity behind industry hat-swapping being sold by doomsayers, also known as the importance—or lack thereof—of employee shifts in the games industry.
“It’s not significant at all,” Wells said, addressing the game of musical directors Naughty Dog has been playing. “In the course of the last generation, we’ve had art directors, creative directors, co-presidents and co-founders leave the company and we just keep going.”
“Everyone here is energized and excited to show off what we’ve been working on,” Wells added. “There are no doom and gloom feelings, unlike what’s being portrayed by ‘journalists’ that are writing these stories.”
