NBA 2K12 Adds 45 Legends to ‘Legends Showcase’ DLC

2K Sports revealed the surprise addition of 45 legendary basketball players in the new NBA 2K12 "Legends Showcase" DLC pack today on their official Facebook Page.

The players added include Yao Ming, Jamal Mashburn, Fat Lever, Wes Unsled, and many more all re-rated to reflect the players at the peak of their careers.  In addition, they will wear their team uniforms unique to that year.

In addition to the 45 legends being added, the DLC will add mini-games like 21 and H-O-R-S-E, as well as new features like the 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge.  As a bonus, Legends Showcase includes Classic Quick Match, a new mode that allows players to play online with the NBA's Greatest teams.

NBA 2K12 Legends Showcase is available this holiday season for $9.99 via PlayStaiton Network on the PS3, and via Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the X box 360 for 800 Microsoft Points.
