NBA 2K14 coming to Xbox One, PS4, and current-gen consoles

As expected, 2K Sports confirmed the release of NBA 2K14. The newest entry in 2K's reputable basketball series has been announced for both current- and next-gen consoles, each version offering "dynamic and distinctly unique experiences."

In the same announcement, the publisher/developer revealed Lebron James as the NBA 2K14 cover athlete. As such, 2K Sports will be selling the King James Bonus Pack, which offers exclusive Lebron James content.

NBA 2K14 is being developed by Visual Concepts, a 2K studio. Fans who pre-order the Xbox 360 or PS3 version will receive the King James Bonus Pack at no extra cost on day-one. The current-gen version of the game will be available on October 1, 2013 in North America and October 4, 2013 internationally. No release date for the Xbox One or PS4 version was revealed, as Microsoft and Sony have yet to announce when the new systems will launch.
