NBA 2K16 cover stars are ‘#Winning’ in first extended gameplay trailer

Publisher 2K today released the first extended gameplay trailer for NBA 2K16, appropriately titled “#WINNING”.

The three-minute trailer is composed primarily of in-game footage, flaunting the lighting and animation improvements the title makes over its predecessors. Though dozens of athletes are featured, the game’s cover stars are the focal points. Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis see some extra limelight, to say the least.

NBA 2K16 is poised to make considerable changes to the longstanding and, some say, stagnant franchise. As our own PJ Paquette discussed in a recent piece, it changes up the heretofore incremental changes with more significant ones like involved MyLeague customization and improved AI.

NBA 2K16 will launch for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC September 29, 2015. North American fans who pre-order their copy can jump in four days prior on September 25.
