We have heard about Spike Lee directing the MyCareer Mode in NBA 2K16 and the three different covers for the game, but what about EA's competing game NBA Live 16? EA has decided that one athlete and one game cover was better than three.
Oklahoma City's Russel Westbrook is the chosen champion for NBA Live 16. Westbrook is one of the "most versatile and explosive players in the league, demonstrated by his 11 triple-doubles this season."
EA hasn't revealed very much information on the game besides the cover athlete, but come E3 we will be seeing plenty of details on the game. On Monday, June 15 at 1 PM PT, EA will reveal the first gameplay details and will feature NBA Live 16 at their booth for hands-on play.
NBA Live 16 is set to release exclusively on the PS4 and Xbox One this Fall.
