Pokemon GO trainers have been left frustrated ever since Niantic removed the steps system from Pokemon GO's Nearby tracking feature, and now it has changed again with a new update.
In the absence of a properly-working Nearby, gamers have gravitated towards other means of tracking Pokemon within the game, such as PokeVision – but the website has since been shut down.
This has meant that the time between PokeVision being made unavailable and Niantic bringing out this new update, it could be argued that Pokemon GO has been pretty much useless.
Now, however, Niantic has put together a brand new update for Pokemon GO, chiefly to fix some of the games bugs. Patch details where revealed by the app's official Twitter account today, as seen below:
