Need for Speed combines real life and in-game footage into the game

Anything you customize is right in the game

Need for Speed kicked off EA's Gamescom press conference today in Germany with some brand new details and a brand new trailer.

For the first time in the franchise, the game will be combining real life video footage with actual in-game footage. It will focus around five separate racing icons known as Magnus Walker, Ken Block, Nakai-San, Risky Devil and Morohoshi-San. Each icon represents one of the five in game racing styles you can choose to follow: Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw.

As you progress in game, you can choose to switch between which racing style you gravitate toward and thus attracting the attention of a different icon. A live action video sequence will follow showing you just how well, or poorly for that matter, you performed and how these icons view your status in the underground racing scene. These advancements were made thanks to the Frostbite engine and the capabilities it offers according to EA.

Need for Speed releases this November.
