Last week, Electronic Arts teased revealed their brand new Need for Speed game. Aside from it being a "full reboot" of the racing franchise, and a few other broad highlights, very little was actually revealed about the game.
But while EA was content with waiting until E3 in June to fully detail the new Need for Speed, it seems Microsoft's Xbox site was a bit premature in revealing the game's product page. The now-removed page not only revealed a November 3rd launch date for the new Need for Speed, but also detailed all sorts of features.
Here's the game's description from the product page before it was taken down:
"Discover the nocturnal open world of urban car culture, driven by 5 unique ways to play and win, in this thrilling reboot of Need for Speed. Carve your own unique path, via multiple overlapping stories, gaining reputation on your journey to become the ultimate icon."
Features include "authentic customization" that will allow you to build a car "that reflects your character through extensive visual and performance customization."
The five ways to play offer "Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw," enabling you to earn reputation and "win your way."
It also seems that the new Need for Speed will primarily take place in a west coast urban setting. "Venture Bay is your urban playground; from downtown, the harbour and the canyons, the city comes alive while you sleep," it reads.
For the first full trailer for Need for Speed, tune in to EA's E3 press conference on June 15, 2015.
