Neko Atsume’s embarrassing cat collecting game announces tie in merchandise.

Before Fallout Shelter took over our free time and began raising blood pressure every time it would randomly decide to close, the internet was quietly nudging each other over the safest way to reenact Hoarders: Buried Alive- Neko Atsume. The game is essentially a Tamagotchi style cat collecting extravaganza. Hoard all the furry little carnivores and care for them even though they’re likely to eat you once you die alone in your house (but really, that’s just an indication of respect with them).

The makers of the game have made a set of three CDs themed for the different varieties of cats that appear in the ridiculously chipper game and are called Neko Atsume Love and feature mostly Vocaloid tunes from various artists as well as obnoxiously adorable stickers and all will include the retro sounding background theme from the game.

Amazon Japan has all three available for preorder, but will only be available in limited quantities.
