Neptunia V parodies Army Corps of Hell

Hyperdimension Neptunia V isn't afraid to dish out parody after parody. The follow-up to the awesomely absurd Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 already provided nods at Level-5's Akihiro Hino and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. But the game isn't stopping there; not by a long shot.

The latest Neptunia V screens to surface show off what can only be a parody of the Devil King from Army Corps of Hell. You may remember that game being a Vita launch title. It wasn't the greatest success, but it was still a solid and enjoyable experience.

It's a bit odd that publisher and developer Compile Heart is including this spoof in Neptunia V, especially since it's so recent. Then again, the game is turning out to be a gigantic bag of odd, so it shouldn't be too surprising. It probably won't end here, either. I can only imagine what other parodies Neptunia V will feature down the road.
