Netflix eyes Full House revival series, ‘Fuller House’

A wise man once asked me, "Whatever happened to predictability?" He must not have lived in 2015 as it's become almost a sure thing now that your favorite childhood television shows and movies are revived/rebooted.

The latest victim of the trend is Full House, which Netflix is apparently nearing a deal to revive as a 13-episode series with the working title "Fuller House."

Ew, it's like they're not even trying anymore.

According to sources (via TVLine), Fuller House will star Candace Camera Bure as D.J. (the eldest daughter in the Tanner household) and Andrea Barber as her annoying yet lovable BFF, Kimmy Gibler. Fellow Full House stars Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos ("Uncle" Jesse 'Have Mercy' Katsopolis), and Dave Coulier (Joey 'Cut it Out' Gladstone) are reportedly being eyes to make guest appearances. There was no mention of the Olsen twins, who played the adorable youngest daughter Michelle Tanner, or Jodie Sweetin, who played the middle child Stephanie Tanner.

John Stamos will produce the show, along with the original Full House creator Jeff Franklin and executive producers Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett.

Netflix and Warner Bros. have yet to comment on the rumor.

Full House aired on ABC from September 22, 21987 to May 23, 1995. The show lasted 192 episodes spanning 8 seasons. Despite spectacular ratings throughout the years, ABC canceled the show after the eigh​th season due to the increasing costs of producing the series.
