Netflix gives 8-episode order to Will Arnett comedy series Flaked

Will Arnett and Netflix keep getting together for booty calls. Arnett, who was recently starring on CBS' comedy series The Millers until it was recently cancelled, already has two Netflix exclusives — he co-starred in Netflix's Arrested Development revival, and he has an animated comedy BoJack Horseman.

His new series, Flaked, takes place in Venice, California. It follows the story of a self-appointed "guru" Chip (Arnett) who falls for the object of his best friend's fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullshit that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel.

Arnett said, "We're very excited to partner with Netflix — the home of original, original content — and the network I knew would be the ideal home for this passion project."

Flaked is set to premiere in 2016 on Netflix.
