Netflix’s Jessica Jones gets an official logo

Taking advantage of the success that followed Marvel’s Daredevil, Netflix long ago announced that they would be bringing to life more episodic tales from Marvel’s massive bank of characters with Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. The last of which just got her official title plate.

While Luke Cage is just about ready to kick off filming and Iron Fist is embroiled in development woes, Jessica Jones is just about to wrap production on the first season, setting us up for a premier later this year.

Krysten Ritter stars as the titular character, bringing with her David Tennant, Mike Colter and Carrie-Anne Moss and the show itself will follow the superhero-cum-private detective and her exploits. Jessica Jones is the second piece to an eventual The Defenders miniseries that will combine herself and Daredevil with Cage and Danny Rand.
