News on The Defenders is coming pretty quickly today with the reports earlier of returning characters to the show. We now have our first look at the first set photos showing Jessica Jones squaring off against Misty Knight at gunpoint.
No word on how Jessica Jones got all bloodied up, but chances are it's not at the hands of Misty Knight given Jessica's strength. The Defenders is set to release late in 2017 after Ironfist (March 17th 2017) and The Punisher (Date TBA) Both Daredevil season 3 and Jessica Jones season 2 will release in 2018 as of now unless things change.
Earlier in October we got our first look at an extended trailer of Ironfist as well as Colleen Wing in action. Ironfist, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones will team up against villain Sigourney Weaver, who as of now has not been named.
