For the second time, developer NetherRealm Studios has teased us with future DLC for Mortal Kombat X — perhaps in a "Kombat Pack 2".
In yesterday's livestream showing off Mortal Kombat X's latest fighter Tremor, who arrives as the fourth and final character in the Kombat Pack, NetherRealm referenced his joining the roster as the end of "Kombat Pack 1." While it's not confirmation, it does suggest that NetherRealm could have plans for more characters, perhaps as part of a Kombat Pack 2.
It's not the first time we've seen such speculation. Last month, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon suggested the possibility of a Kombat Pack 2 when he posted on Twitter about "Meat" joining the roster… "#IfThereIsAKombatPack2."
Prior to that, the king of trolls suggested that Rain — who is in the game, but not as a playable character — could also become available to players. So perhaps he'll be another character included in this mysterious Kombat Pack 2 — you know, if there is one…
