Neverwinter closed beta launching on Xbox One next month

Closed beta for the Xbox One version of Perfect World Entertainment's free-to-play MMORPG, Neverwinter, is scheduled to begin next month, the publisher announced today.

The closed beta will be offered for just a few days, spanning February 5 through February 8, but it should give players a decent idea for how the full-fledged MMORPG makes the transition from PC to console. According to Perfect World, "Neverwinter on Xbox One will utilize console features including friends list integration and optimized controls to easily transition the MMORPG experience from PC to console."

You can sign up for the closed beta here. As for the release date, Perfect World maintains that Neverwinter will be launching for Xbox One in "early 2015." It will be available for free to those with Xbox LIVE Gold.
