If you were into playing RPGs on your PC back in the early 2000's, you've probably heard of (or even played) Neverwinter Nights. When BioWare first released the game back in 2002, it was met with praise for its gameplay and story, and "soon", we will be able to experience the game's glory all over again… except this time it's enhanced.
Beamdog, a studio made up of former BioWare developers, has announced that an enhanced version of Neverwinter Nights is "coming soon."
The enhancements for the game appear to be limited to a few pieces of UI and scaling up to 4K, and the addition of effects like depth-of-field, pixel shaders, and post-processing. The game will be $20 once its completed and features the base game, along with Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark, Pirates of the Sword Coast, Infinite Dungeons, Wyvern Crown of Cormyr and two soundtracks.
It's not the most beautiful enhanced game to have ever lived, but it is a fun game and it will be compatible with any of your old saves!
