Neverwinter PS4 players have some insane milestones, over 2 million players

Perfect World announced today that Neverwinter has hit some amazing milestones after only two months of being released on PS4. To thank players for their dedication, a few bonus events have been announced.

In total, over 2 million players have signed up on PS4, with over 12 million across all three platforms including Xbox One and PC. All of the milestones can be seen below, but some of the major ones include 1.6 billion minutes of the game played. If you factor that across 60 days since launch, it comes out to be 26.6 million minutes a day of Neverwinter played on PS4. Just to break that down, that's about 1.1 million game days played in every single calendar day, or 24 hours. That's just uncanny.

In celebrating two months of Neverwinter on PS4, several announced events are listed below:
  • Four Double Bonuses 09/13 – 09/19: 2x Enchants & Runes and 2x Astral Diamonds
  • 09/15 – 09/19: 2x XP and 2x Glory
  • Free PS4 static theme
  • Charity Art Drive with Extra Life
  • PS4 Accolades Trailer
  • Community Giveaways for 30 Days of VIP
Throughout two months of adventuring following its July 12 launch, players have collectively accomplished incredible feats while questing through iconic Dungeons & Dragons locations and overcoming fearsome foes including the Demogorgon, the cult of Elemental Evil, Valindra and more! A few of those milestones can be found listed below:
  • Over 2 million players on PS4
  • Over 12 million adventurers on all three platforms (PC, Xbox One and PlayStation®4)
  • 3.2 million characters created, with over 30,000 reaching the Level Cap of 70
  • 1.6 billion minutes of Neverwinter played on PS4
  • 50 billion Astral Diamonds earned
  • 18 million mounts attained
  • 11,000 guilds formed

Those are some amazing numbers and it's just for one console. We can only imagine what the numbers would look like with over 12 million players. A safe guess would be to simply multiply the numbers by 6, but I don't think my calculator goes that high. If you haven't tried Neverwinter yet, it's available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with the newest Storm King's Thunder expansion coming this fall for consoles.
