Perfect World and Cryptic Studios announced today that Neverwinter: Underdark — the game's 8th expansion — will launch on Xbox One on February 9, 2016.
Available on PC since November of last year, Underdark sees us fighting alongside Drizz't Do'Urden culminating in an epic battle with the Prince of Demons himself, Demogorgon, in a 10-player battle. The update also includes all-new content such as the new hub zone of Mantol-Derith, two end-game skirmishes, and “The Dwarven King,” a quest line written by New York Times Best-Selling Author, R.A. Salvatore,
Neverwinter released on Xbox One last March 30th and already has its 8th expansion only 10 months later. With nearly two million players since launch, Neverwinter has become the console's largest free to play title with nearly constant content updates outside of its major expansions.
Just recently, Neverwinter players experienced the Winter Festival, double refinement point and more to go along with five separate campaigns. After recently being updated to a max level cap of 70 (originally 60), two new Paladin character classes were added in as well.
Neverwinter: Underdark launches February 9th on Xbox One and is free to play with a Gold subscription.
