The Neverwinter: Underdark expansion has finally received a concrete PC release date and will be available beginning November 16th according to the announcement by Perfect World and Cryptic today. The Underdark expansion will feature a playable story line based on the novel series by author R.A. Salvatore. Featuring character Drizzt Do'Urden as a quest giver, PC players of Neverwinter will be able to get their hands on this expansion starting November 16th.
Xbox One users do not have an exact release date, but the expansion will be coming in 2016 after the system's 6th expansion in Strongholds releases Tuesday, November 3rd. Featuring an all-new campaign as well as a quest line, Neverwinter: Underdark will dare players to descend into the Rage of Demons storyline from Wizards of the Coast, adding even more content to explore throughout the Forgotten Realms. Players will also wage battle against the two-headed Demogorgon alongside classic Dungeons & Dragons characters including Drizzt Do’Urden, Regis and Bruenor Battlehammer.
In addition to the new raid and story content, Neverwinter: Underdark introduces a dynamic, replayable content, the ability to visually preview gear as well as a new Strongholds plot location and PVP tower. Note that the new Strongholds location will only be on PC, not Xbox One, as it's part of the expansion although the Strongholds releases on Xbox One November 3rd.
