New Action-RPG, Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom shows off new gameplay in Behind-the-Scenes video

The upcoming Action-RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom may seem new to us but to the game's Creative Director, Samir Rebib, Shiness has been floating around in his mind, and on paper for most of his life. Shiness started out as a Manga that Rebib drew as a kid, and it has slowly been adapted into the Action-RPG you see above with his studio, Enigami.

The game itself is attempting to do something very new to the RPG genre, by combining role-playing tropes with Fighting game mechanics, to create a more engaging experience via real-time combat. Instead of waiting, and strategizing your moves, players have to master real-time blocking, parrying, dodging and combo attacks to be successful.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is already available for pre-order on Steam and will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this December.
