Tommorrow, Albion Online will begin its Final Beta phase in preparation for the game's launch and to celebrate developer Sandbox Interactive has released a trailer titled "Everybody Matters" to showcase how even the littlest roles can have some of the biggest consequences. Albion Online is striving to deliver a game that is almost entirely player-driven, where the players gather resources which are then sold to blacksmiths (who are also players) who craft the weapons to be sold to warriors, who then use the weapons to win the wars that will inevitably break out.
Players can literally be whatever they want, whether it's a battle-hardened warrior, hunter-gatherer, or even an outlaw that robs other player caravans. Albion Online has done away with traditional classes as well, so if you get tired of being a mage, you can change outfits and instantly become an archer.
Albion Online is also set to have cross-play functionality as PC players will be able to play with people using tablets, a first for the MMO genre. There is currently no official release date set in stone for Albion Online, but the developers are targeting a November 2016 release window.
