New Angry Birds Star Wars update Escape from Hoth is live today

A new update, Escape from Hoth, is playable in Rovio's Angry Birds Star Wars today, according to Pocket Gamer.

Escape from Hoth introduces 20 new stages and two bonus levels that you can unlock by earning stars. Players contend with pigtroopers, mynock pigs, and a new boss in and around an asteroid field in the aftermath of the Battle of Hoth.

Angry Birds Star Wars is free for Android but costs 99 cents for iPhone and $2.99 for iPad.

A previous update in November (which also added 20 stages and two bonus levels, plus a pink bird named Leia) took the action directly to the planet Hoth.
